GM Plus Program “Have you done your good deed today?”
Whether you are a registered leader or a participating parent you can qualify. Think about how much time you give; planning/attending meetings, camporees, pinewood derby’s overnights, day hikes, chaperoning, driving, attending Cub camps and or Scout camps. All of these actions are forms of volunteering that qualify you as contributing to the Scouting program. Attending a Cub/Scout camp, you not only spend quality time with your son, but you can count that time towards your GM plus program. This funding goes directly to support our Scouting programs. This gift should not be confused with your personal FOS gift. The money raised, however, will help the council towards achieving its’ financial goal. All dollars donated above this year’s goal will be used for camp development at both camps. If you have been a participant in the program during the past, a letter and form will be sent to you based upon the calendar date you submitted the form last year. If you are new to the program, please fill out a form and submit it to the council office or go to www.easymatch.com/gmvp* and follow the directions to submit the volunteer grant request. Thank you for your continued support of the Scouting program. If you need a GM plus form or have a question call the Scout office at (248) 338-0035 and ask for Joan Baibak (ext 138). We will be glad to send you a copy. |
