Nobody is born with all of the knowledge needed to be a Scout leader. Here you can find information on some of the most important things that a Scouter needs. First off, there is training. It is often said that "every Scout deserves a trained leader," and this is where you can find out what it taked to be a trained leader and when and where the trainings are available.

Advancement is an important part of the Scouting program and there is a lot to know in order to keep all of the paperwork straight. This is particul;arly true as the Scouts approach the rank of Eagle Scout.
